For some time ISE Games has been working with
the 4-H Shooting Sports Committee on a games program for 4-H. We introduced
this new program at the recent 4-H Workshop in Kansas to get a feel for how it
would be accepted and the response was excellent. Since the ISE Games are
actually mini-simulators, these games are more than just fun to
play.
The ISE Shooting Sports games are truly as close to the real thing
as you can get electronically. While there is no substitute for learning the
shooting sports from a certified training instructor, the PC games from ISE can
be a teaching aid which you may find worthy of consideration.
This
technology has been used to create PC games which closely depict both internal
and external ballistics as well as “real as life” shooting sports
action. Inside of each game you will find actual components of the shooting
sports like the interchangeability of various parts of the rifle to achieve
greater accuracy; ammo reloading; adjusting sights for both short and long
range shooting; the effects on shooting from the elements (wind, weather, etc)
and all of the techniques which can be used to achieve higher accuracy and
better scores.
Many instructors who teach the shooting sports tell us
that they have used parts of our games in their training programs. The games
allow instructors to demonstrate some shooting sports actions in the classroom
which normally could only be demonstrated at the range. There is practice
sessions available in the games and these can be used by the students to
further develop their feel for the instructions received in the class room.
Finally there are several 100 yard ranges and a very unique 1000 yard range
available in these games which can be used for practice purposes when a trip to
the range is impossible. In short, there is a tremendous amount of shooting
sports technology imbedded in the ISE games which can be used to supplement the
great work that 4-H instructors do in the classroom.

the 4-H Shooting Sports Committee, ISE is offering a copy of 3 of our games to
all 4-H instructors at a very special price. These games each sell for $19.99
in the retail stores but your cost is $3.76 each, plus postage and handling.
