Breeding Turkey Unit 2 (11-13) Intermediates Project
This project is for member’s ages 11-13 years old. This project is designed for youth who want new challenges and opportunities to explore a wide range of activities. Members will accomplish the following learning experiences:
- Learn about egg production
- How to recognize a healthy flock
- Learn about skeletal structure of birds
- How to select and judge broilers
- Learn about pecking orders
- How to prevent diseases and make an egg candler
- How to build a budget
