Step 3: Select Your Project Unit

Unit 1 From Airedales to Zebras, this unit is designed for members ages 8-18 years old. Members will accomplish the following learning experiences:
- Learn basic anatomy and systems
- Explore careers with animals
- Learn elementary principals of diseases
Unit 2 All Systems Go, this unit is designed for members ages 8-18 years old. Members will accomplish the following learning experiences:
- Examine health and disease topics
- Learn to recognize normal and abnormal conditions
- Explore veterinary careers
Unit 3 On the Cutting Edge, this unit is designed for members ages 8-18. Members will accomplish the following learning experiences:
- Investigate in depth normal and abnormal systems
- Explore the diversity of veterinary professions.

Note: Only turn in work from the above manuals. Do not fill out the Nebraska materials, (The Normal Animal, Animal Disease, and Animal Health). They are for resource only.
All exhibits will consist of the following:
- A (Cooperative Curriculum System, CCS—From Airedales to Zebras or All Systems Go or On The Cutting Edge) project manual and e-Record presented in a sturdy binder/notebook including these items: appropriate sections in the manual completed, e-Record and other attachments related to activities in the manual. Do a minimum of seven activities, any combination of activities and booster shots. These units may be completed in three years.
Note: List the day, month, and year for the date of completed activities/booster shots on page 4 of the manual.

A display board illustrating a topic investigated during the project year. The standardized display board size 4' x 3' is to be used for 4-H projects.
