The Colorado 4-H Foundation was established in 1952 as a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization to raise and disburse funds in support of the Colorado State University Extension 4-H Youth Development program. The Foundation seeks financial support for awards, scholarships, educational trips and other new and innovative programs and opportunities for 4-H youth and adult volunteer leaders.

The Foundation currently provides funds for the following programs: 4-H Scholars Program

  • 4-H Wheat Awards
  • Citizenship Washington Focus
  • College Scholarships
  • International 4-H Youth Exchange
  • Livestock Judging
  • National 4-H Conference
  • Western Regional 4-H Roundup
