The Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX)
Through this program, promoted and funded by the U.S. State Department, Eurasian high school students, ages 15-18, experience a one-year homestay with American families while they attend an American high school. This program is a rewarding way to promote peace and understanding between the United States and the New Independent States of the former Soviet Union. FLEX participants come from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. Host family applications due May 1.
